The Ribs of Creation, Part II

I would like to take a moment to tell you all about how all of this started. Every hero has an origin story. Every queer person has a root (mine was GQ magazine and Fashion Television). This story begins with a young, innocent Asian gal who came to work one day and was assigned seating beside a nice lady named, oh, let's call her Consuela.

It all began one day when True got hungry at lunch and made her way to the local Farm boy with Consuela and the Office Mom. Standing at the food counter, Office Mom dared True to eat an entire rack of ribs sans cutlery. Naturally, True was full of pride (not just of the rainbow variety) and decided to accept the challenge.

Consuela had suggested on a previous occasion that it would be nice to have these gigantic meals documented. During a field trip to Wakefield's local GT boutique to find cheetah prints, house coats and Justin Bieber t-shirts, bilingual days of the week bibs were purchased to document, well, the days of the week. Duh.

That's about it. Bathroom stories coming up in the next issue.
